Seaward Services, Inc., a provider of maritime solutions and part of the global Hornblower Group, announced that its vessel the M/V Seaward Endeavor is available for extended international operations following its approval by the United States Coast Guard (USCG) for expanded authority to operate in international waters.
NYK has unveiled Japan’s first fully battery-driven work vessel, e-Crea (pronounced “éclair” for its visual resemblance to the French pastry).Keihin Dock Co., an NYK Group company, built the vessel at its Koyasu Shipyard.Designed without an onboard diesel generator, e-Crea will support the docking and undocking of tugboats at the Koyasu Shipyard.
Fort Lauderdale – Resolve Academy, a provider of maritime training, hosted its 19th annual Damage Control Olympics on April 29. The spirited competition of shipboard firefighting and vessel flooding exercises were designed for officers and crews from U.S. Navy and U.S Coast Guard visiting Port Everglades during Fleet Week Fort Lauderdale.
