Concordia Damen has announced the delivery of a CDS Tanker 135. Last week, the vessel successfully passed its trials, after having been outfitted at Concordia Damen’s shipyard in Werkendam by its long-time outfitter CCM3, and many trusted suppliers and partners. MTS Gambler is 135 meters long and 11.45 meters wide and is designed for the transport of mineral oils.
Concordia Damen has received a new contract from Reederei Deymann, one of Germany’s largest inland shipping companies, for the extensive refit of a dry cargo vessel Hirschhorn. The vessel recently arrived at the Concordia Damen yard in Werkendam, where the transformation project has now started. The refit involves the complete renewal of the aft ship.
Concordia Damen, a Werkendam-based shipbuilder, has commenced construction of a new River Cruise vessel for Century Cruises, one of China’s leading river cruise operators. The vessel has been developed in partnership with United Waterways, and marks Century Cruises’ official entry into the European river cruise market.
A CDS River Cruise 135 type cruise vessel, the Excellence Crown, to Swiss shipping company Twerenbold Reisen Group, which christened the vessel in May 2025 in Basel. The 135-m ship features hybrid propulsion and was designed and built by the Concordia Damen shipyard in Werkendam, the Netherlands.

Concordia Damen won a contract by Koninklijke Van der Wees Transporten for the construction and delivery of an innovative RoRo pontoon, to be named Lastdrager 29. The Ice Memory Foundation is preparing for the upcoming transport of ice cores from mountain glaciers to the Ice Memory Sanctuary in Antarctica.The announcement was made as part of the launch of the UN Decade of Action for Cryospheric Sciences (2025-2034) during the third UN Ocean Conference in Nice on June 8.
