Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy (SGRE) has received the firm order from the Danish energy company and offshore wind giant Ørsted for their 900MW Greater Changhua 1 & 2a offshore wind power project in Taiwan.The project includes the Asia-Pacific variant of the SG 8.0-167 DD offshore wind turbine and a service agreement.

The Hong Kong and Vancouver-based shipowner Valles Steamship has ordered a new 112,000 dwt crude oil tanker from South Korea’s Sumitomo Heavy Industries Marine & Engineering (SHIME).Ship set to be fitted with a scrubber and will enter the market before the end of 2020, said a release from Valles, which was founded by C.S. Koo in Shanghai as a family business in 1917.

American multinational energy corporation Chevron signed a new sales and purchase agreement with South Korean oil refiner GS Caltex Corporation for the delivery of liquefied natural gas (LNG) to South Korea.As a joint venture between Chevron and GS Energy, GS Caltex has signed a long-term agreement and will begin receiving LNG in October 2019, said a press release from the U.S. oil and gas major.
