Crowley Maritime Corporation christened the third of four new LNG-ready Jones Act product tankers at a May 5 ceremony at the Julia Street Cruise Terminal in New Orleans.   The 600-foot-long, 50,000-dead-weight-ton (dwt), 330,000-barrel-capacity MT Louisiana is capable of carrying crude oil or refined petroleum products, as well as other chemical products for U.S. Coastwise trade.

Buzzard Oilfield Output Falls Slightly after Glitch

Production at the UK's North Sea Buzzard oilfield has fallen slightly after a technical glitch, three trading sources said on Thursday.   One source said that output was down by about 20,000 barrels per day (bpd) as of Thursday morning, while another said the outage was up to 30,000 bpd.   The field's operator Nexen did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Julia Achieves Tropical Storm Status Again

Julia regained its designation as a tropical storm as it milled off the southeast coast of the United States on Friday, the National Hurricane Center said in an advisory. US Judge Allows North Dakota Pipeline Construction to Proceed

A U.S. judge on Friday allowed construction to proceed on a crude oil pipeline in North Dakota, denying a request from Native American tribes to enjoin the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to withdraw permits for the project.   U.S. Judge James Boasberg ruled that the Corps "likely" complied with federal law in permitting the 1,100 mile (1,770 km), $3.

YPF Names New CEO

YPF, Argentina's state oil company, has named Ricardo Darre as chief executive officer, local media reported on Monday.   According to a report by investment publication El Investor Online that was picked up by various national media outlets in the country, Darre has worked for French oil company Total in the United States.   YPF declined to comment to Reuters on the matter.
