French oil and gas company Total said on Monday that crude exports from its Djeno terminal in Congo Republic was ongoing and unaffected following a strike last week and the sinking of a loading buoy in an unrelated accident.   Traders said on Friday that the company had declared a force majeure on exports of Djeno crude following the incident.

The container ship CMA CGM Fidelio caught fire on 15 nautical miles off Puerto de San Miguel (Ibiza), Spain.   The vessel was en route from Valencia to Malta, when flames erupted in the superstructure.    The Spanish Navy and Maritime Rescue attended the container ship after declaring a fire in the crew cabins at 04:20 hours on March 24.

Ecopetrol Reports $525.6 Mln Profit in 2016

Colombia's state-controlled oil producer Ecopetrol on Monday reported net income of 1.56 trillion pesos ($525.6 million) for 2016, as it cut costs amid still-low global prices for crude oil. The company said in a filing to the financial regulator that it returned to profit after a 3.98 trillion peso loss in 2015.

Buzzard Oilfield Output Falls Slightly after Glitch

Production at the UK's North Sea Buzzard oilfield has fallen slightly after a technical glitch, three trading sources said on Thursday.   One source said that output was down by about 20,000 barrels per day (bpd) as of Thursday morning, while another said the outage was up to 30,000 bpd.   The field's operator Nexen did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Julia regained its designation as a tropical storm as it milled off the southeast coast of the United States on Friday, the National Hurricane Center said in an advisory.
